Our Ethos

Norwich Lions Basketball Club, Based at Sewell Park Academy, is dedicated to providing inclusive basketball opportunities for players of all skill levels. Our primary goal is to be a welcoming club for all abilities, while also competing to be the best we can. We are also committed to developing strong local partnerships to enhance the basketball community in Norwich.

Our Story

The Lions Basketball Club was established in 2018 following a split from the Wildcats Basketball Club. However, our dedicated team has been actively involved in the men's team since 2008.

Since 2014, we've risen from the bottom of the league in Norfolk to achieve a remarkable rise to success. We've secured back-to-back promotions and delivered strong performances in Division 1, culminating in a league and cup double victory in 2022.
